5 Delicious Superfood Smoothies

1. Skin Glow
Ingredients:
- 1 cup kale
- 1/2 medium mango
- 1 1/2 tablespoons ground sunflower seeds
- 2 tablespoons coconut yoghurt
- 1 cup coconut water
2. Post-work out
Ingredients
- 3 large ripe bananas or if you want it more like a frozen thick shake, add half frozen, half fresh
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp flax seeds
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 3 heaped tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tbsp protein powder
- 1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
- 1 cup (250ml) coconut water
- 375 ml almond milk
3. Alkalising Greens
Ingredients
- 2 celery sticks (leaves removed)
- 1 medium Lebanese cucumber
- 1 small green apple
- 2 stems of fresh mint
- 1 small knob (about 1 cm) of ginger, skin can be left on, just wash well
- 1/2 a lime, skin left on if organic
4. Pink Power
Ingredients:
- frozen bananas – because frozen ones just make for such a nice texture
- fresh strawberries – nothing else says “Summer” as much as these
- white beans – that’s where things get interesting!
- vanilla extract or powder – this delicious spice always takes things to the next level
- hemp seeds – more protein, more creaminess and omega-3s!
5. Spicy Banana Oat
Ingredients
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- 1 banana
- 1 cup almond milk
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground turmeric
